
Gregoire Helps Bristol Blues Down Pittsfield Suns 6-2

Frankie Gregoire went 1-4, helping the Bristol Blues (3-0) to a 6-2 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (1-2) on Friday at Muzzy Field.
He tripled in the third inning.
John Arel kept contact to a minimum, striking out eight the Pittsfield Suns batters. Arel allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk over five innings.
It was a good day at the plate for the Pittsfield Suns' Eric Hamilton. Hamilton went 3-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.
Austin Hanson had an impressive outing against the Bristol Blues' lineup. Hanson held the Bristol Blues hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
R.J. Hall couldn't get it done on the mound for the Pittsfield Suns, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out nine.
