
GreenHawks Sign Ray Cunningham

ROCKVILLE, MD. The Maryland GreenHawks have signed forward Ray Cunningham to a contract, General Manager Adam Dantus announced today. To make room on the roster, the GreenHawks released forward Kevin Mickens.
Cunningham (6-7, 220), just returned from Finland where he was averaging 16.2ppg and 8.5 rebounds through 15 games, including a 36 point and 16 rebound performance against Honka.
The Murray State alum played for the Maryland Nighthawks during the 2005-06 season where he was named second team all-league.
"Ray is an exciting and versatile player who brings a lot of energy on both sides of the floor," said General Manager Adam Dantus. "Ray is in his prime and has vastly improved his game since last playing in Maryland."
Since playing with the Nighthawks, Cunningham has played in the WBA, CBA, USBL and overseas in Iceland, Dominican Republic and Finland.
