Maryland GreenHawks News Release

ROCKVILLE, MD.The Maryland GreenHawks have appointed Chad Warren to become the team's head coach.

Warren, who this season has been serving as an assistant coach for the GreenHawks, will replace the late Otis Hailey who succumbed to kidney failure this past Saturday.

"This opportunity is bitter-sweet," said Warren. "No one wants to get a chance from an injury or even more serious a death. My prayers are with Otis and his family. However, I'm going to make the best of this situation and continue where Otis left off. We have a great group of guys and a load of talent. Hard work and determination will pay off."

Warren will take over at Tuesday's practice and coach the GreenHawks beginning with Thursday's game against the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry.
