Great Lakes Loons Announce Season Schedule

The Great Lakes Loons received approval today for their 2007 season schedule, with the home opener officially set for Friday, April 13, 2007 at 7 p.m. against in-state rivals the Lansing Lugnuts. The Loons begin the season on the road April 5 with a three-game series against the South Bend Silver Hawks.

The 140-game schedule features 70 home games, 33 of which will be played on weekends. Standard game times will be 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. The Loons also expect to schedule some weekday afternoon games. Please visit www.loons.com for updated game time information.

"We're expecting Friday the 13th to be a lucky day for us in 2007," said Paul Barbeau, Loons President and General Manager. "Now that we have an approved schedule, our fans can begin planning their summer around great Minor League Baseball action."

A variety of ticket packages are currently available. Barbeau said ticket package sales for the team are going well, but there are still plenty of seats available for the 2007 season. Individual game tickets will go on sale in March, 2007.
