
Great Falls Explorers To Open Training Camp

Great Falls, MT - November 5, 2007 - The Great Falls Explorers of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) will take the first steps to starting the 2007-2008 season tomorrow as the team's second ever training camp begins.
The Explorers will be starting the season with 15 players from around the nation. Training camp will last until November 15th when the team must cut their roster down to 10 players who will travel to Yakama to battle the defending CBA champions on Friday November 16th.
"We have a lot of great players," commented General Manager Ryan Acra, "we put together a roster of proven veterans mixed with some young talent that we think will give us a good chance in the CBA this year."
Head Coach Scott Wedman will be coaching the Explorers for the first time, and will be coaching for the first time in the CBA. Players returning from last years Explorers' squad include Marlyn Bryant, Jamar Howard, and Keith Salscheider.
The CBA regular season begins on November 16th with the first Explorers' home game scheduled for December 4th. For more information please call the Explorers' office at 216-3033.
