
Grady Earns Weekly AFL Honors

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze are pleased to announce that QB Tommy Grady (6-7, 245, Utah) has been named the Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week by the Arena Football League.
"This award is really for my teammates," said Grady. "I am just a point-person but it takes a collaborative effort from all of them."
Grady helped guide the Blaze to a 72-36 victory over the Tampa Bay Storm, completing 29-of-39 passes for 306 yards, seven touchdowns and no interceptions in their home opener. He also rushed four times for a gain of four yards and two scores.
DB William Mulder (6-0, 190, Campbellsville) and WR/DB Aaron Lesue (5-10, 195, Utah State) were also final candidates for the Russell Athletic Defensive Player of the Game and JLS Ironman of the Game, respectively.
