
Governor Hickenlooper to Drop Puck at Cutthroats Game

DENVER, CO - Governor John Hickenlooper will join the festivities as the Denver Cutthroats prepare for the opening games of their inaugural season this Friday and Saturday night.
Hickenlooper will attend the Cutthroats' Saturday night contest against the visiting Missouri Mavericks and will drop the ceremonial first puck at 7:05 PM MST.
"The Cutthroats appreciate the support of Governor Hickenlooper as we look to establish ourselves as a community asset," added Cutthroats Owner John Hayes. "We are dedicated to trying to win championships, growing the sport of hockey in Colorado, and giving back to the Denver community and surrounding areas."
The Cutthroats will play all 33 of their home games this season in the historic Denver Coliseum, which celebrated its 60th anniversary earlier this year.
