Gorillas to Hold Blacktop Hockey at Kids Inc this Saturday

AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Gorillas and Kids Inc. are teaming up to hold a Blacktop Hockey Clinic on Saturday, May 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kids Inc office located on Osage Avenue.

Several Amarillo Gorillas players will be making an appearance, along with Stomp the Mascot. The Beat 93.1 will be broadcasting on location from noon to 2 p.m., sponsored by Kobat Hockey. Kobat will also be on hand with a display of the latest products that they offer.

“We are excited to be working with Kids Inc. on this Blacktop Hockey Clinic,” said Director of Media Relations Denis J. Puska. “This will be a great chance for the children and parents to get to know the Gorillas, Kids Inc, and Kobat Hockey as well as play some hockey.”

Meanwhile, the Gorillas have added several more Blacktop Hockey Clinics next month. The tour will make a stop in Higgins, Texas on Monday, June 2 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and later in the week at the Children’s Learning Center office located on South Jackson in Amarillo.

Other stops include a visit to the Borger Fish Fry and Beach Bash on Saturday, June 7 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., and the Wellington First Baptist Church in Wellington, TX on Thursday, June 12.
