Detroit Hitmen News Release

The Detroit Hitmen are hosting their 1st annual golf outing Sunday, October 11, 2009. This will mark the beginning of the Hitmen's many public appearances in the community. The Hitmen are hosting this event for golfer and hockey lovers of all types. The Detroit Hitmen will be represented at the event by players, coaches, and team personnel. The golfing will be followed by a dinner in one of the banquet rooms, accompanied by the announcing of the winners from the silent auction. All the players attending the event will be available for autographs and conversation. "I am excited to get the season started, and this will be the first event of the year," stated Matt Wiedenhoeft. He continued, "It'll be a great day to introduce players to the public, as well as, meet many of the fans and supporters of the Hitmen." To register for the outing, contact Calsie Cuellar at ccuellar@detroithitmen.com or Matt Wiedenhoeft at mwiedenhoeft@detroithitmen.com. Spaces are limited for this event, and it is anticipated to sell out rapidly.
