[ RIO RANCHO, N.M.]- The New Mexico Scorpions, proud member of the Central Hockey League (CHL), have unveiled their "ALL IN INTERNET HOLIDAY TICKET SPECIAL." During the month of December fans can save by purchasing tickets through the internet.

As our holiday gift to the fans all "4 Corners" seats for the seven December home games will be available for only $16 when you purchase your ticket through GetTix.net. Each order is subject to a small $3 handling fee, regardless of total number of tickets purchased.

The Scorpions will enjoy their busiest month at home during the holiday season. The games promise to be exciting as Southwest division rivals Arizona and Lubbock will return to the Santa Ana Star Center . Old CHL rivals from Colorado and Oklahoma City will make their trips to New Mexico and rekindle some of the league's better old time battles.

When at the Santa Ana Star Center fans will enjoy more than just a thrilling hockey game. Fans will have their chance to be selected for exciting intermission games like sumo wrestling, human hamster balls and musical chairs just to name a few. Also, the Creamland T-shirt Cannon is always on hand launching great Scorpions t-shirts into the crowd. During a time-out you can also participate in the "Charlie's Sporting Goods Bait and Switch." The top prize is a Charlie's Sporting Goods $15 gift certificate.

Several great promotions are lined up during the holiday season. This Friday the Scorpions will celebrate "Ten Years of Scorpions Hockey." Be a part of the excitement as banners will be raised to celebrate the last ten years of a great New Mexican tradition. Culminating the evening will be the induction of Assistant Coach/Director of Community Relations Randy Murphy into the Scorpions Hall of Fame.

This Saturday, December 9, SpongeBob SquarePants will make his first visit to the Santa Ana Star Center , courtesy of Comcast Cable. Kids of all ages will be able to get their picture taken with the lovable yellow guy.

Friday December 15 is Faith Night. All religious groups are invited to enjoy a night of Scorpions hockey and an uplifting post-game concert.

On Saturday December 16, the annual "Toys For Tots Toy Drive" culminates. All fans are invited to bring a new unwrapped toy to the Scorpions game to donate to those less fortunate during the holiday season.

The holiday cheer continues on December 22 as the Scorpions host their "1st Annual Teddy Bear Toss." Bring a teddy bear to the Scorpions game and throw it on the ice when the Scorpions score their first goal during the game. All the stuffed animals will be collected and donated to those in need this holiday season.
