
GM Rick Mueller Makes Statement on Maurice Clarett's Workout

The Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League will hold a workout session for running back Maurice Clarett on Sunday, August 29 in Omaha. The level of success of the workout will determine whether or not a contract will be offered. The session will be closed to the media.
Clarett starred at Ohio State University, leading the Buckeyes to the 2002 BCS National Championship. He rushed for 1,237 yards and 18 touchdowns that season. Clarett was a third round selection of the Denver Broncos in the 2005 NFL Draft.
