Global Triad, Inc. special ABA game for TV

January 19, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release


Ft. Lauderdale, FL. GLOBAL TRIAD, INC. (OTC - Pinksheets: GBTD), a publicly-traded company's wholly owned subsidiary, Global TV, produced the first in a series of American Basketball Association (ABA) games as part of a newly developing television and broadcast plan between the two organizations.

On Monday, January 16th, MLK Day, the then undefeated Indiana Alley Cats traveled to the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida to meet the Florida Pit Bulls in what was billed as "one of the premiere games in the ABA season." The Florida Pit Bulls are coached by and also feature Tim Hardaway, NBA legend. The game was everything and more as the Pit Bulls handed Indiana its first defeat. Global TV shot the game which included a live radio broadcast and is editing the game for tape-delayed presentation nationally. According to Joe Newman, ABA CEO, "The objective is to show America's basketball fans the ABA at its best - fast paced, exciting high-scoring professional basketball and entertainment from a fabulous facility." Announcement about the actual on-air broadcast will be forthcoming shortly.

In addition, Global TV has formed the "IPTV Sports Network" and will be broadcasting a live feed, paid preview over the internet for the ABA. There will be additional regular season games in the plan as well as the ABA All Star Game and entertainment on Saturday, February 11th and the ABA Final Four Playoffs in March.
