Gladiators to Host City of North Las Vegas Football and Cheer Camp

The Las Vegas Gladiators are hosting the City Of North Las Vegas Football and Cheer camp tomorrow, Saturday January 27th from 1-3pm at Flores Park in North Las Vegas. The Goddesses dance team will be leading the cheer camp and the Gladiators Players and Coaching Staff, including Head Coach Danton Barto will be heading up the football camp.
Over 100 youth have signed up for the camp and in addition to the camp itself they will also receive a ticket voucher to a Gladiators home game. The Coaches and Goddesses are excited to share their knowledge and skills with the youth in the Las Vegas Community.
Coach Barto and his staff, along with LB Tony Newson will take the kids involved with the football camp through a series of stretches, warm-ups and agility drills. They will also teach the kids the correct techniques of throwing and catching. They will deliver a hands-on one on one experience for these kids to learn from the best.
On the other side of the field the Goddesses will be heading up the cheer camp. They will be teaching these young ladies the basics of dance, starting off with proper stretching and warm-ups. They will learn about technique and movement, followed by a simple dance routine.
Besides teaching kids how to play football or how to dance, the Gladiators main goal in providing this camp is to project a positive image for these kids so they understand the benefits of hard work and discipline.
