
Gladiators Agree to Terms with Galiardi and Scrymgeour

The Gwinnett Gladiators have agreed to terms with forwards Rylan Galiardi and John Scrymgeour for the 2012-13 season.
Galiardi earned 47 points (18 goals, 29 assists) in 61 games last season with the Florida Everblades. He appeared in two Kelly Cup Playoff games with Everblades last season on Florida's run to their first Kelly Cup Championship.
The Calgary, Alberta native also spent time in the American Hockey League last year as he skated in one game with Providence and two with Bridgeport.
In 2010-11, Galiardi completed his senior season at Minnesota State University - Mankato where he earned 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) in 32 collegiate games. He also appeared in 10 AHL games with San Antonio over the final few weeks of the season where he notched two assists.
Galiardi skated four seasons at Minnesota State University - Mankato where he earned 81 points (29 points, 52 assists) in 140 career collegiate games. He had a career best 28 points in the 2008-09 season.
Scrymgeour played each of the past two seasons with Reading. He earned nine points (six goals, three assists) in 31 games last season with the Royals. In the 2010-11 season, Scrymgeour amassed 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists) in 55 games with Reading. He also skated in one post season game in the 2011 Kelly Cup Playoffs with Reading.
The Pickering, Ontario native earned his only AHL call up in the 2010-11 season where he appeared in three games with Portland. While on recall, Scrymgeour did not register a point with the Pirates.
Scrymgeour tallied 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists) in 132 career collegiate games at Lake Superior State University. He had a career best 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in his senior season in 2009-10 with the Lakers.
The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
