New York City FC News Release
New York, N.Y. - New York City Football Club (NYCFC) and Gillette announced a new partnership, making Gillette the Official Shaving Partner and Razor of the Club.
Through the new partnership, NYCFC will support Gillette's "Look Good, Game Good" campaign launching across the MLS. The campaign highlights the connection between preparation, positive self-image and performance - because when you feel you look good, that helps you game good.
Each month, NYCFC will showcase our players' best looks as they arrive at the Etihad City Football Academy. Alongside these monthly videos, NYCFC and Gillette will choose one fan in attendance as the best-dressed fan of the match to receive a Gillette and NYCFC swag bag. The giveaway will start with NYCFC's home match on May 22 at Citi Field.
In addition to promoting the campaign, Gillette and NYCFC will also host mentorship events this season providing advice on professional and personal development for young adults.
Andres Gonzalez, NYCFC Vice President of Partnerships, said: "New Yorkers are world-renowned for their sense of style. We're excited to partner with Gillette in this initiative and know our fans are going to embrace the campaign."
"As MLS Champions and New Yorkers, NYCFC's style and swagger is exceptional, and it all starts with their preparation," said John Claughton, Vice President of Grooming at P&G. "We're excited to partner with NYCFC to show fans how a Gillette shave is a great way to prepare for the day - to help you look good and feel good first, and set you up to game good in all facets of life."
