
Gibson, O'Brien and Hazen named TELUS three stars of the week

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, January 10, 2011 - Goaltender Christopher Gibson, and forwards Zach O'Brien and Jonathan Hazen, were named today the TELUS three stars of the week from January 3 to January 9, 2011.
Christopher Gibson is the TELUS first star of the week. The Chicoutimi Saguenéens backstop collected two wins in three games with stellar performances against Montreal, Drummondville and Victoriaville. He finished the week with a 1.58 goals-against-average and a .950 save percentage by stopping 96 of the 101 shots he faced. Gibson earned first star honours in a victory over the Montreal Juniors.
Acadie-Bathurst Titan left-winger Zach O'Brien is the second star of the week. The forward registered four goals and six helpers for a total of ten points while posting a +5 rating in three games, resulting in two wins against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and one loss at the hands of the Saint John Sea Dogs.
Finally, Val-d'Or forward Jonathan Hazen after he collected six goals and three assists for a total of nine points in three games. Hazen also managed to keep a +4 rating. He scored four of his six goals against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies last Tuesday.
