BRADENTON, FL - The Marauders go pink this Saturday, raising awareness for breast cancer, and headlining a homestand that also includes a 46-inch TV giveaway, a night with complimentary tickets courtesy of floridacentral Credit Union, a celebration of high school football and a night dedicated to raising awareness for those with disabilities.

Get Your Pink On! is the theme to Saturday's 7pm start against the Jupiter Hammerheads, sponsored by Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute and Blake Medical Center. The Marauders will wear specialty pink jerseys that night, auctioned off during the game and awarded to the winning fans off the players' backs on the field postgame. The auction will benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, an initiative of the American Cancer Society. There will also be a pink bra contest and breast cancer survivors are invited to march on the warning track at 6:30pm pregame.

Rewind toward the beginning, and the homestand starts off with Plunder Your Hunger, All-You-Can-Eat Wednesday. Thursday brings the 'Remote Control for TV Dig,' presented by Rice's Appliance & TV. Prior to the game a remote control will be buried under the McKechnie Field infield. After the game, fans will dig up the infield in search of the remote. The fan that finds the remote wins a 46" TV. Fans registering for the dig before August 4th receive a metal spoon to dig with. Fans registering on the day of the game will have to use plastic.

Friday marks Local High School Football Night. Fans are encouraged to don their high school's colors, spirit shirts or jerseys. Fans doing so will receive $1 off tickets at the gate. In-between innings games will also have a football-centric theme.

Saturday is Get Your Pink On! with Sunday bringing Disability Awareness Night, a 5pm start. Non-profit organizations that work with individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to fundraise with the Marauders. For each ticket purchased on behalf of their organization $2 goes back to the organization. The organization that sells the most tickets receives $4 back. Individuals with disabilities that purchase a ticket to the game can participate in our meet and greet with the Marauders. Also, players from the Pirates rookie-level affiliate, the Gulf Coast League Pirates, will be at the game to sign autographs and take pictures from 5:30-7pm.

The homestand closes Monday, August 8th with floridacentral Credit Union Buyout Night. Fans can pick up complimentary tickets to Monday's game at floridacentral Credit Union's location at 701 9th Street West in Bradenton. The last Buyout Bight brought a record crowd of more than 5,000 fans. Don't miss being part of what could be our new record attendance!
