Greenville and South Georgia meet for the first of four meetings in 2024. The southern rivals will face off twice in League One regular season competition, and twice in the new Jägermeister Cup.

Starting in 2023, the rivalry was formalized as the Peach States Derby, with the clubs contesting a peach basket trophy and bragging rights between the two League One founding clubs.

The team with the most points from the regular season matches between the two teams will be awarded the Peach States Derby Trophy. To note, the trophy is based only on the regular season. Playoff, cup and exhibition matches are not included in the decision of awarding the trophy. If both teams are tied in points come the end of the season, the first tie breaker will be total goals scored in the series, and the second tie breaker will be away goals scored.

Tormenta holds the lead in the all-time series, with a 9-6-3 (W-L-D) advantage. The clubs went 1-1-1 against one another in 2023.
