Georgia Swarm to Host 'Bumble Night at the Hive' this Friday

(DULUTH, GA) - The Georgia Swarm is proud to announce that it has partnered with Bumble, the popular dating app, to bring 'Bumble Night at The Hive' on Friday, April 15 at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Field at Infinite Energy Arena. The Swarm hosts the New England Black Wolves for a 7:35 p.m. contest and the game will re-air on FOX Sports Southeast.

Bumble is a social discovery app with a unique twist: encouraging women to make the first move. Using a modern day Sadie Hawkins concept, Bumble creates a selective and meaningful environment for connecting with and discovering new people.

"With such similar branding, we felt that this partnership with Bumble was a no-brainer," Swarm Co-Owner and President Andy Arlotta said. "The energy of Swarm Lacrosse, coupled with the Bumble app will allow fans to have a one-of-a-kind gameday experience as well as the opportunity to meet new people in Atlanta and the metro Atlanta areas."

When using the app, Bumble's main screen shows people around you. After two people mutually opt in to connect with each other by swiping right, they're added to each other's 'hive' of connections. The woman has to say something first within 24 hours or the connection disappears forever. Additionally, men can show special interest in a match by extending just one per day to remain in queue for an additional 24 hours.

During halftime of the Swarm game, all Bumble users will be invited to the Georgia Natural Gas Club Lounge for the opportunity to mingle with their in-game matches. Bumble reps will also be on-hand with Bumble giveaways such as koozies, sweatbands, and hats!
