(ATLANTA) - The 2017 NLL World Champion Georgia Swarm unveiled its Training Camp schedule ahead of the 2018-19 season. Georgia will have three Training Camp weekends and three preseason games. After Training Camp concludes, the Swarm will finalize its Active Roster to 20 players and a four-player Practice Squad.

Georgia looks to have another competitive Training Camp following a busy offseason and Entry Draft. The Swarm has signed eight of its 2018 NLL draftees, including first round picks Brendan Bomberry (No. 7 overall, Syracuse University) and Adam Wiedemann (No. 8 overall, Belmont Abbey College).

Before making a pick, the Swarm acquired lefty forward Holden Cattoni from the Calgary Roughnecks in a trade that swapped draft picks and sent Jesse King to the Roughnecks. Georgia also signed free agent defenseman Tyler Ferreira, 2018 MLL Rookie of the Year Matt Dunn, and goaltender Craig Wende earlier in the offseason.

With four goaltenders, nine offensive players, and roughly 20 defensive players slated to participate in the Swarm's Training Camp, the coaches will use the three-weekend camp to selectively decide which players will give Georgia its best chance at winning another NLL Cup.

"As always, we expect this to be a very competitive Training Camp," Swarm head coach Ed Comeau said. "We have been fortunate enough to land some great draft picks and free agents that will push for spots on our 2018-19 roster. Our veterans are excited for the start of the season and looking forward to our Home Opener on Dec. 1."

Training Camp starts on Friday, Nov. 2. That weekend, players and coaches will work in the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre. On Sunday, Nov. 4, Georgia will play its first preseason game against the Toronto Rock at 2:00 p.m. ET.

The next weekend, the Swarm travels to Philadelphia on Friday, Nov. 9. Georgia will practice out of the Virtua Flyers Skate Zone, the official practice facility of the Philadelphia Flyers and Wings. With no preseason games scheduled that weekend, Georgia will evaluate its players with several practices.

For the final Training Camp session, Georgia will head to the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA) in Six Nations from Nov. 16-18. The Swarm will play its second preseason game on Nov. 17 against the Rochester Knighthawks. Faceoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET. Georgia plays its final preseason game on Nov. 18 against the Philadelphia Wings at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Georgia will kick off the NLL season with its Home Opener against the defending world champion Saskatchewan Rush on Saturday, Dec. 1. Faceoff at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Field at Infinite Energy Arena is set for 7:05 p.m. ET.
