Georgia Force News Release
SINGLE PRACTICE: Following their scrimmage with Nashville yesterday, the team spent today going through a light practice and some conditioning exercises. The day began with a special team's period in which they worked on kickoff returns and kickoff coverages. The defense performed well during the team portion of practice as DL Jermaine Smith knocked down a screen pass from QB Chris Greisen on the very first play. DB Hamin Milligan batted down a long pass intended for WR Kevin McKenzie two plays later. QB James MacPherson finally put the offense in the endzone when he combined with former Green Bay Blizzard teammate WR Brent Holmes for the score. Tomorrow, the team will receive their first day off since training camp began a week ago, and will resume practice on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m.
Wednesday, February 21 and Thursday, February 22, the Force will host combined workouts with the New Orleans VooDoo at their Flowery Branch practice facility. Additional information pertaining to the workout will be released next week.
