Georgia Force to Wear Road Uniforms at Home Saturday Night
April 18, 2007 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Georgia Force News Release
FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force (6-1) have announced the team will wear their white road jerseys at home for the first time in the franchise history as they host the Dallas Desperados (7-0) on Saturday, April 21 at 7 p.m.
The rivalry between Force/Falcons owner Arthur Blank and Desperados/Cowboys owner Jerry Jones carries over to the indoor war Saturday night. Georgia will be looking for retribution for the Divisional Round playoff loss to Dallas last year by knocking off the only unbeaten team remaining in the AFL in 2007. All Force fans are encouraged to wear white on Saturday night, but the first 10,000 fans to enter the gates will be given a free White Noise tee-shirt.
"Our fans will become our 9th man on the field by wearing their White Noise tee-shirts," said team Owner and CEO Arthur Blank. "This is a very important game for us, and we are asking every Force fan to rally around their team to solidify our home field advantage. "
