No. One Dallas Meets No. Two Georgia On Saturday
April 18, 2007 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I) News Release
NEW YORK - The undefeated Dallas Desperados (7-0) have won all three of their road games by an average of 29 points while scoring just over 65 points per game. While the offense is scoring at this point-per-minute pace on the road, the Desperados defense will have its hands full when they travel to Philips Arena on Saturday, April 21, at 7 p.m. ET (FSN Southwest - Live, FSN South - Live, SIRIUS Radio Channel 119) to face the Georgia Force (6-1).
Georgia's offense averages 64 points per game at home which promises fans a shootout in Atlanta for National Conference supremacy.
The Desperados, ranked No. 1 in the Schutt Sports Poll for the seventh consecutive week, are 2-1 all-time in the regular season against the No. 2 ranked Force, with all contests coming on Georgia's home turf. This will be the seventh time the top two teams in the Schutt Sports Poll have met in the regular season since 2004, with the record knotted at 3-3.
Dallas has won 10 of its last 11 road games with QB CLINT DOLEZEL (1,913 YDs, 44 TDs) under the helm. The Desperados hope to become the fourth team in AFL history to begin its season with an 8-0 record.

This game matches Georgia's second-ranked scoring offense (63.0 ppg.) against Dallas' second-ranked scoring defense (43.7 ppg.)
The No. 11 ranked Columbus Destroyers (3-3), led by QB MATT NAGY (1,388 YDs, 33 TDs), welcome the Philadelphia Soul (4-2) to Nationwide Arena for an Eastern Division showcase on Russell Athletic ESPN Arena Football Monday this Monday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and ESPN360.com.
