Norcross, GA -The Georgia Force of the Arena Football League announces the addition of four new players that will bulk up their offensive and defensive fronts with the signings of defensive linemen Daniel Howard and Lawon Scott and offensive lineman John Gianninotto and fullback Mykel Benson

Howard (6'3", 255), a former All-Big 12 player, will reunite with former Texas Tech teammate Brian Duncan, who was recently assigned to Georgia, on the defensive line and will bring immediate depth to the Force pass rush. Scott (6'2", 318) was an Honorable Mention All-SEC player as a senior at Ole Miss and was signed by the Dallas Cowboys in 2010.

Gianninoto (6'4", 300 lbs) who played collegiately at UNLV was in training camp (2011) with the Carolina Panthers of the NFL and played in all of their pre-season games before being released at the 53 man cut down date. Benson, from Florida A & M, played the 2011 AFL season in Milwaukee where he started 13 games and accumulated 177 rushing yards and 7 TD's on 77 rushing attempts.

Georgia Head Coach, Dean Cokinos is pleased with these acquisitions. "I am excited about the quality of these players. All four of these guys will strengthen our team," stated Cokinos.
