
George Suspended

TORONTO - The Canadian Football League announced today that it has suspended Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive lineman Tearrius George for one game for an illegal hit on Calgary Stampeders quarterback Drew Tate during the Western Semi-Final last Sunday.
The decision to suspend George was made following a hearing held yesterday with the player and CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon.
George will serve the suspension during the first regular season game of the 2013 season.
