Flint Generals News Release

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals look to snap a two-game losing streak tonight when they visit the Kalamazoo Wings at Wings Stadium at 7:30 pm.

It's just the second meeting of the season between the two teams with the Wings taking the first one 6-5 in overtime after they rallied from a three-goal deficit. It's also the first trip to Kalamazoo by the Blue and Gold this season.

The Generals are coming off a 3-1 loss to the Fort Wayne Komets last night as Kyle Deck netted the lone goal on the power play in the third period. Flint fired 31 shots in the game but couldn't get much past goaltender Sebastien Laplante.

Greg Bullock and John DiPace have combined for 19 points on the road this season with just six of them being goals. The Generals are 2-4-0-0 on the road and rookie goaltender Jordan Alford has both wins.

Deck has been a very effective player for the Generals in the last five games with three goals and two assists for five points. All three goals have come on the power play and did that with 17 shots to the net. Deck is fourth on the team with 27 shots on goal.

Fans can tune into the game on Unforgettable 1470 WFNT and www.flintgenerals.com beginning with Countdown to Face-off at 7:10 pm with Denis J. Puska. The face-off follows at 7:30 p.m. Video coverage is available through the B2 Networks, but a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game.

The Flint Generals are back on home ice on Saturday night when they host the Port Huron Icehawks at 7:30 pm at Perani Arena and Event Center.
