Generals Finish out Summer League

The Lincoln Generals fell in a close battle with the Hutchinson Ball Hogs, losing 106-100 in the final game of AAPBL summer league action in Billings, Mont.

The Generals found themselves on the short end of a 52-48 score at halftime. Will Porter jump-started Lincoln's offense in the second half with a three-pointer. After Hutchinson converted on a short jumper, the Generals scored four points in half a minute to take the lead.

The game seesawed from there, with the Ball Hogs taking the lead and Lincoln coming back. Hutchinson took the lead for good with 10:11 left in the game on Nick Thomas' jumper. The Generals kept fighting, but it never was enough to take over.
