Dayton Gems News Release
Dayton, OH- The Dayton Gems Ownership Group, proud member of the Central Hockey League, announced today that the Gems will host an Open Gem Session on Thursday, September 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the lobby at Hara Arena.
The Open Session will give fans (both season ticket holders and non season ticket holders) the ability to ask questions about the upcoming season to Head Coach and General Manager Brian Gratz, Gems President Joe Greene and Hara Arena's Director of Marketing Karen Wampler. Doors will open a half hour prior to the event at 6:30 p.m. Light snacks and beverages will be provided to those attending that evening. Fans that cannot attend the event will still have an opportunity to have their voices heard by sending their questions to the Gems via email or by logging onto the team website and submitting their questions there.
"This open forum gives our fans an opportunity to speak their minds and ask questions related to the future of Gems Pro Hockey," said President Joe Greene. "With the cooperation of the Arena in allowing us to host this event and them having a presence there as well, our fans should feel more confident about what the Gems are doing this season and many seasons to come. The purpose of the forum is to enhance their game night experience and make them feel at home when they come out to our games this year."
"We're working very closely with the Dayton Gems to ensure the best experience possible for the fans. We're excited to share some of the fan-friendly changes planned for the coming season," said Hara Marketing Director Karen Wampler.
