Gems Announce Season Ticket Plans for 2012-2013 Season

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Gems professional hockey team, a proud member of the "AA" Central Hockey League, announced details on Season Ticket pricing and benefits for next season, and have partnered with the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets to offer a special renewal deal for current seat holders.

The Gems are proud to announce that Season Tickets for the upcoming 2012-2013 season will officially go on sale this Friday, February 24 to renewals and new purchases. Deposits will be accepted starting Friday at the Service Experts Guest Services table at each Gems home game or by calling the Gems ticket office at 275-7777. A refundable Season Ticket deposit of just $50 will reserve a seat, with renewing fans having the option of retaining their current seating selection if making their deposit by April 15. New Season Ticket buyers will have the opportunity to select their seats during a special "Select A Seat" event over the summer.

For the upcoming 2012-2013 season, the Gems will once again utilize the "seating zones" which include Center Ice, Corners and Ends to determine season ticket pricing. Center Ice zone pricing remains the same as the current season at $400 per seat, Corner Zone pricing is $330 per seat, Ends zone pricing is $275 per seat and Children (ages 3 to 12) remain just $250 in any seating zone.

Current Season Ticket holders have until April 15 to renew without losing their first rights to those particular seats. Additionally, new and renewing Season Ticket holders will be invoiced for their first half payment in June, with the remaining balance due by October 1. Benefits for 2012-2013 Season Tickets include: Free Parking, an invitation to STH-only parties and events, 10% off Gems merchandise in the official team store, the chance to sit on the Gems bench during pregame warmups, chance to become the Gems Facebook STH of the week, special unused ticket redemption nights, two buddy passes, STH-only drawings and contests and much more.

In addition, the Gems are excited to announce that they have partnered with the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets to offer current 2011-2012 Gems Season Ticket Holders four tickets per account to their choice of upcoming Blue Jackets games at Nationwide Arena. The Gems return to the ice this weekend with three straight games inside the historic Hara Arena. The Gems host the Missouri Mavericks for "Millionaire Night" this Friday, while Saturday night's game against the Arizona Sundogs is scout night and deaf awareness night, with Fairborn's Baker Middle School sign language club performing the National Anthem in American Sign Language prior to the opening faceoff at 7pm. The Gems close out the weekend with an afternoon matinee against the Evansville IceMen at 4pm.
