St. George RoadRunners (21-11, South 1st) vs. Calgary Vipers (20-10, North 1st) Tuesday - Friday, June 30 - July 3, 2009 Bruce Hurst Field - St. George, UT
SERIES OUTLOOK: The two division leaders in the Golden Baseball League tangle for the second time this season when the Calgary Vipers travel to Southern Utah to take on the St. George RoadRunners. After the Snakes took two of the first three games in Canada (June 8-10), both teams have travelled down similar roads. Each division leader allowed a regional foe within reasonable striking distance (OC for St. George; Edmonton and Chico for Calgary). Since the scare, both teams have rattled off winning streaks and swept their last opponents at home. St. George comes into tonight's game with the most wins in the GBL (21) while Calgary has the best winning percentage (.667).
