American Defenders of New Hampshire News Release

(NASHUA, N.H., May 29, 2008) Gateways Community Services and The PLUS Company have teamed-up with the Nashua Pride to provide tickets to the Pride's home game on Friday, May 30th, to over 200 individuals with disabilities, their families, and elders in need of support.

Gateways Community Services and The PLUS Company proactively serve the greater Nashua community by providing a wide ranger of services and supports to those with disabilities, their families, and elders. As active, long established caring community partners, both organizations are pleased to collaborate with the Nashua Pride to bring the excitement of baseball and family to many of New Hampshire's most vulnerable citizens.

"Gateways and PLUS are dedicated to improving the lives of those with disabilities and their families, as well as elders in need of support. " said Sandra Pelletier, President and CEO of Gateways Community Services. "Bringing baseball to the individuals we serve is a terrific way to include all in a great community experience."

Many members of the group attending Friday's game would otherwise not be able to attend such an event without the aid of Gateway Community Services and The PLUS Company. The ceremonial first pitch of the ball game will be thrown by an avid PLUS fan attending the game with the group. Also among the spectators will be two visually impaired fans who will be provided with special box seats by the Pride, so that they may have the best view of the live action.
