Brandon Wheat Kings News Release
Brandon, Manitoba -- A total of 23 western Manitoba players have been invited by Hockey Manitoba to summer evaluation camps for provincial teams that will compete at the Canada Winter Games in Whitehouse, Yukon.
Both the boys and girls camps will be held from June 23rd to 25th at the Keystone Centre, with forty prospects scheduled to attend each.
Among the boys invited were 16-year old center Sanfred King of Brandon and defenceman Colby Robak of Gilbert Plains.
While King was the first round selection of the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings in the 2005 Bantam draft, Robak was a fourth round pick (77th overall).
Both players attended Brandon's recent Spring Evaluation Camp at the Keystone.
The 2007 Canada Winter Games will be held next winter.
