The Aeros make their first trip to Rockford this season tonight, 7:05 p.m. at the Rockford Metro Centre. The Aeros defeated the IceHogs 4-1 Dec. 13 at Toyota Center in their only meeting this season. The Aeros fell to the Chicago Wolves 5-1 last night while the IceHogs are coming off a 7-1 loss to Milwaukee Tuesday. This is the second of eight meetings this season between the two teams. AEROS NOTES

Snap to it- RW Jon DiSalvatore's had his team and season-high four-game goal streak snapped last night. DiSalvatore has registered a point in 18 of his last 22 games. RW Danny Irmen's four-game assist streak also came to an end last night. Irmen had posted six helpers in those four games.

Team Leaders - RW J-M Daoust tallied his team-high 12th goal at 6:44 of the third period in last night's loss to Chicago. Daoust also leads the team with 24 points and is tied with DiSalvatore and D Maxim Noreau with 12 assists. LW Matt Kassian continues to pile up the PIM. His 73 PIM is 21 clear of D Clayton Stoner's 52.

3-in-3 - Tonight is the middle game of a road 3-in-3 for the Aeros. Houston is 4-4-1-0 when playing in back-to-back games.

Front Line - The Aeros line of Chad Rau, Andy Hilbert and J-M Daoust have accounted for 40 of Houston's 87 goals scored this year.

2009 - The Aeros enter this final game of 2009 with a 38-33-3-4 record in the calendar year. The Aeros were also 10-10 in the playoffs.

All-Stars - Noreau and G Anton Khudobin will represent the Aeros in the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic Jan. 19 in Portland, ME. Noreau will play for the Canadian AHL All-Stars leading AHL defensemen with nine goals scored. Khudobin will play for the PlanetUSA All-Stars taking a 1.98 GAA and four shutouts to Portland.

Milestones - D Justin Falk is four games away from his 100th in an Aeros sweater. RW Danny Irmen is three points way from his 100th career AHL point.

Wheels Up - Tonight is the second contest of a 11-of-15 road game stretch for the Aeros.
