Game 2 With the Dillas Called Due to Rain

Amarillo, Texas---Game two of the four game series between the san Angelo Colts (32-13) and the Amarillo Dillas (24-21) has been postponed due to rain. In the top of the first, Ronnie Gaines doubled to begin the ballgame then advanced on a wild pitch. After a walk to Jason Diaz, Bryan Frichter singled to score Gaines, Runners stood at first and second as San Angelo led by a run. The game was then called by the umpire Woodie Belle due to lightning and rain. The game will be made on Wednesday as part of a doubleheader. The Colts and the Dillas will play two seven inning ballgames. First game will begin at 6:05. Brian Henschel is scheduled to pitch the first game, Drew Coffey will pitch in game two. The statistics of todays game will be erased, they will start the game from the beginning. San Angelo leads the series one game to none.
