Syracuse Silver Knights News Release

SYRACUSE, NY - The Syracuse Silver Knights head to Norfolk for their final away game of the regular season. The Silver Knights are coming off two much-needed wins and are looking to keep the moment going against the SharX.

The Knights and SharX face off for the second time in less than a week. Syracuse dominated the SharX on Thursday with a 21-4 win at the Oncenter. The Silver Knights hold a 78-36 scoring advantage over the SharX this season with a 3-1 record.

The Silver Knights also took a double-digit victory at the Rochester Lancers on Sunday afternoon. The Silver Knights got off to a fast start and kept Rochester off the board in the first half.

Over the last two games, the Silver Knights offense is firing on all cylinders with eleven different players finding net. Of those, five players have scored at least two goals, and three have scored at least three times. Nelson Santana leads the team in those games with four goals, including a hat trick against the Lancers. February signing Enrique Tovar has proved his worth with three goals and three assists.

The Silver Knights have also benefited from Bryan O'Quinn starting in goal for both games. He has saved 42 of 48 shots in that time, a save percentage of 87.5. O'Quinn is also on the scoresheet, recording an assist against Rochester.
