Silver Knights at SharX - The Match Up

The SharX are still riding a steep Major Indoor Soccer League learning curve this season but have had some success against Syracuse this season, beating the Silver Knights on the road January 15 by a score of 12-11. The teams met February 9 and Syracuse came out on top 21-4. The SharX should be the better rested of the teams - the Syracuse game was their last match. Syracuse however, traveled to Rochester Sunday night to face the Lancers and came away with a 23-9 win taking their record to 8-12.

Miguel Ferrer has been an impressive scorer for the SharX this season, ranked 21st in the league with 36 points. Matt Clare follows closely behind with 33. Slavisa Ubiparapovic leads Syracuse with 54 points followed by Jeffrey Hughes with 50. They are ranked eighth and eleventh in the league respectively.

The SharX will finish out the regular season with four straight home games beginning with this second half of the home and home series with Syracuse on Tuesday. Milwaukee then visits Norfolk Scope Arena on February 19th, Baltimore on February 26 and Wichita on March 2. Call the SharX office at 757-419-3317 for upcoming ticket specials.
