English Television: Spectrum SportsNet Spanish Television: Spectrum Deportes English Radio: LAGalaxy.com Spanish Radio: KWKW ESPN 1330 THE MATCH: LA Galaxy (7-17-8, 29 points) will host Fan Appreciation Night at their home finale this weekend, when they take on Minnesota United FC (10-16-6, 36 points) at 4:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Oct. 15 at StubHub Center (Spectrum SportsNet, Spectrum Deportes).

The weekend trip will mark Minnesota United FC's first-ever trip to SoCal and they'll be traveling with intentions of avenging a loss they suffered against Galaxy earlier this season. They first met on May 21, when Romain Alessandrini and Giovani dos Santos combined for one of the team's finest goals of 2017, which ultimately helped LA earn all three points in Minneapolis.

This season, the Galaxy are 2-9-5 at home, while Minnesota are 3- 10-2 on the road. LA drew 1-1 against Real Salt Lake in their most recent outing at StubHub Center.

LA GALAXY NOTES:

- 32 percent of minutes this season have been played by LA Galaxy Homegrowns or LA Galaxy II graduates. - Romain Alessandrini has been one of the top new talents in MLS this season. o

He's recorded 11 goals and 10 assists in 28 games this season. o

Alessandrini (11/10), Hector Villalba (13/10) and Lee Nguyen (11/15) are the only players in MLS to reach double digits in goals and assists this season. SIGI SCHMID SAYS BAGGIO HUSIDIC CAN "GIVE US SOME MINUTES" IN THE FINAL TWO GAMES OF THE SEASON | INSIDER: Baggio Husidic could be in line for his first minutes since May in the LA Galaxy's final two games of the season.

Husidic has battled back from a broken left fibula in late May and recently returned to full training with the squad. The 30- year-old midfielder made eight appearances for the Galaxy before suffering his injury. With just two games remaining on the schedule, Schmid believes that Husidic is ready to see limited action-possibly as soon as Sunday's match against Minnesota United. "He's just back into training, so he's limited fitness-wise," Schmid told reporters. "The other day, we played a little bit on last Thursday, and his engine was probably empty at 30 minutes. He's someone that can come on and give us some minutes, but I'm not sure how many minutes at this stage." SIGI SCHMID PROVIDES UPDATE ON ROBBIE ROGERS' STATUS FOR 2018 | INSIDER: Robbie Rogers' status for the 2018 season is still up in the air per LA Galaxy head coach Sigi Schmid. Rogers was placed on the Season Ending Injury list in May because of an offseason surgery to repair nerve damage in his left ankle. The 29-year-old outside back made 22 MLS appearances for the Galaxy last season. Due to the extent of the injury, Rogers has rehabbed offsite with frequent check-ins with the Galaxy's medical staff during the season. However, whether he returns next year is firmly in his court according to Schmid. "That's for Robbie to say," Schmid, who was Rogers' coach during his time with Columbus Crew SC, told reporters earlier this week. "We've had some discussions, and we'll probably be talking again in the next week or two. He's got to come to a decision." NEXT UP: LA Galaxy finish their season on the road, when they travel to face FC Dallas at 1 p.m. PT on Sunday, Oct.

22 at Toyota Stadium (Specturm SportsNet).

2017 MLS Regular Season

StubHub Center - Los Angeles, Calif.

LA GALAXY HEAD COACH SIGI SCHMID

On the match:

"We should have scored eight goals. Even when it was even at the beginning we had three good chances to score goals. You need to finish your chances early on. We weren't giving much away, but when you don't finish those obvious opportunities, the other team keeps growing in confidence. They think that they still have a chance and it keeps them in the game. But today, I don't know how many breakaways we missed...four or five."

On how that kind of draw feels considering the season:

It feels worse. Because we should have won the game running away. We were the better team. We played some decent soccer. At times, guys were stepping up. Some guys are not stepping up. Those are things that are going on, but we also have to manage the game. I didn't think it was a foul at the end of the game. I thought Romain [Alessandrini] was on the ball first. I thought [Joao] Plata kicked him and it wasn't that Romain kicked him. I thought it was a horrendous call. But on the same token, we had two corners in the last seven minutes of the game and we're trying to hit corners into the box and score the second goal instead of killing some time. If we could have killed some time, maybe the foul never happens and 15-30 seconds are gone.

But, again, that's where the guys on the field...somebody needs to say "let's play it short and let's do this.""

An injury update on Gyasi Zardes:

"I haven't checked yet. He slipped in the first half and felt his groin a little bit so he didn't feel like he could go on."

On Clement Diop's performance:

"I thought [Clement] Diop was OK. He made some saves. The one save he made to his left was a very good save. I thought his kicking, except for when out of bounds, his kicking helps us and I thought he was pretty solid today."

On players playing for their jobs:

"The players get assessed everyday at practice and they get assessed at every game. There's always some players who are great practice players and don't do so great in games. Some guys don't practice so well, but play well in games and some guys are good at both and bad at both. All of that is something that we're looking at and we've got to mold a new team here. There's a number of areas that we have to improve upon."

On the performance of Jermaine Jones:

"He was good. When he sits in the hole for us, he really helps us. He wins the ball back and he was solid there. We wanted Jonathan [dos Santos] to sit a little deeper and stay in connection with him so that Bradford [Jamieson IV] could push on a little bit and I thought that worked well early on. If we can get four or five games together, that would help in terms of that understanding."

On Bradford Jamieson IV's run of form:

"Bradford has done well. I've played him in different places. I know a lot of people thought that Sigi is pretty stupid for putting him in the midfield, he's not a midfielder. But he's really playing as sort of a second forward. I know he can make those runs. He's got good feet, he can connect passes, he's got good pace and he's buying into what we're asking him to do. I think if you look at his progression over the next month and a half, I think it's been pretty good."

On the performance of Jonathan dos Santos:

"I thought he was better because he was deeper. We talked before the game about sometimes I think he runs too much. He could do more by doing a little less sometimes and finding the right pockets. And I think today he did a pretty good job of finding those pockets and being in closer connection with Jermaine [Jones]. That allowed him to come later into the play and then it's easier to find passes and play balls in."

LA GALAXY MIDFIELDER ROMAIN ALESSANDRINI

On if it was the most frustrating game yet for the Galaxy:

"Yes. Obviously we are frustrated. When you create a lot of chances like that you have to score. I'm frustrated because I had to score tonight. But at the end of the day, I think it was hard to concede a goal in the last minute, the last second. I didn't think it was a foul, but the referee said yes. You know how we want to finish the season strong. It's very hard for us with this result, but now we have to keep our heads up. One at home and one on the road, but we have to make sure to prepare for the next season. I know it's difficult for the fans, for the club and for us, but we have to work hard. We have to stay together and this night might be the worst game because we should have scored four or five goals."

On the improvement of Bradford Jamieson IV:

"BJ is a great player, but I think he needs confidence. He is a young player so I think he needs a lot of training and a lot of games with the players. We have a lot of experience so we can bring BJ to the top because he has a lot of qualities. He's fast, he has technique. He's a very good player so I think next season, he'll play a lot of game."

On the effectives of Jermaine Jones' tonight:

"We created a lot of chances tonight. Sometimes we were unlucky I think. Me first with my first shot on the post. My second one with the cross from Giovani [dos Santos]. I was alone so I can make that. But it's soccer and sometimes you have to win 1-0 too, but we were unlucky and I think this whole season it was so hard."

On how the team is playing right now compared to two months ago:

"I think so. We play good soccer, but tonight we were unlucky. We have to look forward, we have to keep our heads up and we have to work hard and maybe we can forget what happened in that last minute and be focused on what we have to do."

LA GALAXY GOALKEEPER CLEMENT DIOP

On the result:

"I think we deserved to win tonight. Unfortunately, we didn't. We need to move on and focus on the next game and hopefully get the three points."

On his performance:

"I'm getting back in shape. Now I need to play and give my best for the team, do all I can. If I can, my performances will come with my attitude, on and off the field. Every time I need to be sharp and focused."

On if the team is regaining confidence:

"Collectively, we are coming back slowly, but we are coming back. Now we need to focus on 2018, hopefully we'll be fine."

On the team's late free kick:

"The ball bounced in front of me and I saved it the way I can. I saw the rebound and I touched it ... I think it was unlucky and I don't think they deserved the point tonight."

Re feel team almost unlucky - You have to give credit to Rimando. He had a good game as well. Everyone tried to do their best. We should have won 1-0 and we didn't do that unfortunately.

LA GALAXY BRADFORD JAMIESON IV

On what is different for him:

"Confidence. I think also just preparation, kind of lining up with some opportunities. The training pitch is being put to use so I think a lot of that work is starting to show. I've been given chances so I think they're starting to accumulate, so I think that's all it is."

On what Sigi Schmid has asked from him:

"Going full steam ahead every match. I don't think slowing down is a goal this season. As a player, I'm trying to go 110% through the offseason, through the offseason, through next year, just keeping match fit and just keep a form about me and improve the things I'm working on."

On the goal:

"I think I spoke about it a little last match, as far as the fluidity of the players and the team to read games. Once you start to get more matches with guys, you know what they're thinking and they know what you're thinking. So as soon as I saw Jermaine get the ball, my first instinct was to make the run and I knew he likely was going to be playing that in, so I obviously had no hesitation when I'm getting inside the box, so I'm going to shoot."
