USL Championship Heavyweights: Since 2020, when Alen Marcina took over as head coach of SAFC, Tampa Bay is the only club in the USL Championship with more points (224 to 212). The two league powers meet for just the second time ever, after a 1-1 draw in 2017.

Sharing the Love: Midfielder Jorge Hernandez leads the league in assists with nine, tying the San Antonio FC record for a single season. The total is just five shy of the club's career record, which Justin Dhillon currently owns.

"We're always excited to play in front of our fans, the energy's been very very good. The commitment to the game plan has also been outstanding. We know Tampa [Bay] has been one of the best teams in the league, consistently over the last four, five six years. A team that will be competing to be not only number one in the eastern conference but number one overall. So it's going to be two great teams battling, it's going to be a close one. They have their strengths that we've gone over and like all teams we all have our weaknesses and we're going to be looking to exploit those weaknesses, and hopefully we're able to perform and execute our tasks over 90 minutes."

(On the addition of Nick Marsman...)

"Nick's resume speaks for itself. He's played at the highest level, he's played in Europa League, top league in Holland, in MLS. To acquire such a high level, high experience, top shot stopper goalkeeper at this stage of the season, is a massive grab for us. Both on and off the field. And now we have three quality keepers, that will push each other, challenge each other, get the best out of each other. And then there's a couple years ago, when we had an injury, and we have to be mindful of that. And then [we were] trying to find solutions last minute which is not ideal. Now if that's the case we have three guys that we can rely on."
