Wednesday's Clinching Scenario
As the season comes to a close, SAFC is looking to secure its playoff berth in 2021. This Wednesday's match at New Mexico United presents a couple of different ways the Alamo City club could clinch a playoff spot. Simply put, SAFC would clinch its spot in the playoffs with a draw or win at New Mexico this Wednesday. In addition, SAFC could also clinch a playoff spot regardless of their result at New Mexico. Should Austin Bold FC lose or draw at El Paso on Wednesday, SAFC would automatically clinch a top four spot in the Mountain Division and in turn a playoff berth.

Lema ranks third on the club with 47 tackles in 2021, to go with 16 key passes and two assists.
