Taco Derby Rematch SAFC will face the Austin Bold for the third time this season in the penultimate regular season match against their I-35 rivals. So far this year, SAFC is 1-1-0 against the Bold including a 1-0 home loss and a 3-0 road win. Tuesday's match will take place at Bold Stadium where SAFC is 2-2-0 overall. SAFC has scored at least three goals in four of the eight matches against the Bold in team history, and the club has never lost to Austin when scoring more than one goal in the match.
Making an Impact SAFC midfielder Marcus Epps played a major part in the seven points the team picked up over that last three game homestand. Epps recorded a goal or an assist in all three matches as SAFC outscored their opponents 6-4 in those matches at Toyota Field. Prior to the three matches, Epps had two goals and no assists on the season, but the midfielder now leads SAFC into the upcoming road trip with four goals and one assist overall.
