Top of the West: San Antonio has stepped into the top spot in the USL Championship Western Conference with 49 points. The point total is just two points back of the league leaders, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC with 51. San Antonio's +23 goal differential leads the league as well.

Finishing Summer Hot: San Antonio finished the month of August undefeated, going 3-0-3 with four shutouts and a +5 goal differential. Since going 0-1-3 in the month of June, SAFC has gone 7-1-3 in July and August with a +14 goal differential and five shutouts.

Shutout Streak: SAFC hasn't allowed a goal in the last three matches, going 349-straight minutes without conceding. The scoreless streak is the third-longest in team history, behind a 672 minute stretch in 2017.

"It's a good team, they're playing on a different site - the last time I checked it will be a sold-out crowd, not sure how many that holds but it'll be behind them, so they'll be eager to try to get a result, as we are going there trying to fight, compete and earn three points."

"We're making steps in the right direction. Four clean sheets in the last five games, yes three consecutive clean sheets. We're still creating the opportunities, yeah the ball's not falling for us in that final action but we're very confident in the attackers we have and if we keep creating opportunities as we are, we are number one in the league ... in terms of shot creation. So if we continue to do the right things, I think we're going to start to be peaking at the right time."
