St. George RoadRunners News Release

Game four of the Golden League's Southern Division Playoffs was suspended after a 39-minute delay due to rain and lightning. With the game tied 1-1 entering the bottom of the fourth, the rains became torrential and the field surface became unplayable.

The St. George RoadRunners scored the game's first run when Henry Calderon hit an RBI groundout scoring Ryan Stevenson who tripled to lead off the inning. Tucson responded in the home half on a Ryan Priddy RBI sacrifice line drive to left.

RoadRunner starter Mike Martin and Toro pitcher Jason Jacome were both throwing effectively before the delay.

Game four will continue Monday night at 7pm Mountain. Action will resume in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Listen to all of the live action on the RoadRunners Radio Network with John Potter beginning at 6:50pm Mountain.
