LAST GAME: 5-4 L @ Prince Albert Raiders: Despite taking a 2-0 lead at one point in their second game of the season against the Raiders thanks to goals from Shane Smith & Brenden Lee but the Raiders would slowly make their way back into the game Saturday night as Sloan Stanick & Evan Herman would tie things up heading to the 3rd. From there it was a seesaw affair between the Tigers and Raiders as Landon Kosior would give PA their first lead of the night but Tyler MacKenzie would help draw the game even before Stanick & Herman would go back to back in scoring before finally sealing a 5-4 win with a late Cayden Lindstrom goal with .1 seconds left on the clock.

VS EDMONTON: It's the 1st of 6 meetings this season between the Tigers and Oil Kings in the 2022-23 WHL Season. The defending Ed Chynoweth Cup Champions were 7-0-0-1 over the Tigers, with Medicine Hat's lone win coming in the shootout on October 9, 2021. Tigers Defenceman Dru Krebs lead the way among returning Tigers against the Oil Kings scoring one goal and three assists in 8 games, while notably for returning Oil Kings, goaltender Kolby Hay was 5-0 against Medicine Hat recording ,879 save percentage and 2.80 GAA.
