Gamblers Fall in Shootout

The Green Bay Gamblers fall to the Dubuque Fighting Saints 4-3 in a shootout on Friday night at the Mystique Ice Center in Dubuque, Iowa. With the overtime loss, the Gamblers pick up their first point of the season (0-1-1).

Scoring in regulation for the Gamblers were forwards John Leonard, Sam Saliba and defenseman Andrew Peeke. Forward Brett Gruber tallied the lone goal in the shootout for Pat Mikesch's team.

Box Score

Goaltender Kevin Reich suffered the loss between the pipes in his first start of the season with 30 saves on 33 shots in regulation.

The Gamblers welcome the Fighting Saints to the Resch Center tomorrow night. It's Bud Night! Fans 21 years and older can enjoy $2 Bud and Bud Lights. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05pm.
