DANBURY, CT-The Danbury Trashers, proud members of the United Hockey League, have announced their 1st Annual Blue & White Scrimmage for Thursday, October 13th at the Danbury Ice Arena from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

A special addition has been made to this upcoming event as the Danbury Trashers 19-year-old President A.J. Galante and his 15-year-old sister Candace will coach the opposing sides of the Blue & White Scrimmage in a new twist on sibling rivalry.

Household bragging rights will be on the line as Candace, a sophomore at New Fairfield High School will attempt to upstage her older brother, currently the youngest team president in professional sports and a sophomore at Manhattanville College.

Everyone who attends will also have an opportunity following the game to take part in a meet and greet with the players and coaching staff, including new Head Coach Paul Gillis.

The Danbury Trashers will open their second season in the United Hockey League on October 21st in Port Huron, with the home opener scheduled for Friday October 28th against Elmira at the Danbury Ice Arena starting at 7:30pm. A complete schedule is available online at DanburyTrashers.com.
