
G-Braves, Mudcats Washed Out

Mississippi Braves News Release
Sunday afternoon's scheduled Southern League game between the Greenville Braves and the Carolina Mudcats was postponed due to rain. The game will be made-up when the Mudcats return to Greenville in mid-August.
The G-Braves head to Nashville for a four game series against the Tennessee Smokies with game one set for Monday. RHP Chris Waters (2-3; 3.63), the scheduled starter for Sunday, will take the mound Monday evening for Greenville. The Smokies will counter with RHP Chris Carpenter (NR) who is on rehab assignment from the St. Louis Cardinals.
The G-Braves return home Friday for the start of an eight-game homestand.
