Ontario Fury News Release
The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, and the Upland Sports Arena - the official training home for the Fury - are proud to announce a joint venture to help youth soccer players grow their game.
The Ontario Fury Indoor Soccer Academy will launch Oct. 14 for boys and girls players ages 7 to 16. The eight-session academy will run through Dec. 12, with the week of Thanksgiving dark. Classes are available Mondays through Thursdays, with hour-long sessions available at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. each day.
Players at the academy will receive instruction from the Ontario Fury's coaching staff and players and will focus on skills that will help the young athletes improve their play on the indoor and outdoor field of play.
"We're so excited to partner with Upland Sports Arena for this academy," said Bernie Lilavois, president and head coach of the Ontario Fury. "Having the members of our team helping train the next generation of Fury players will be a great opportunity for the youngsters of all skill levels to learn from the pros close to home."
Each player enrolled in the academy will receive an academy T-shirt, a ticket voucher for an Ontario Fury home game, discounts on additional Fury tickets, merchandise from other academy sponsors and a $50 coupon to the Upland Sports Arena party package of their choice.
Cost is $120 for eight sessions, plus a $35 Upland Sports Arena annual membership. The entire amount must be paid in full at the time of registration.
The Upland Sports Arena is located at 1721 W. 11th St. in Upland. For information, or to register, contact Alexandra Banos at 909-985-7903 or by email at abanos@uplandsportsarena.com.
