Ontario Fury News Release
Sonora, Mexico - The Ontario Fury got shutout in the third period and that proved to be the difference in the 11-5 loss to Soles de Sonora. The teams entered halftime with Sonora (4-5) leading a close game 5-3 but that all changed in the second half as Sonora came out with a 6-0 scoring run including a goal just 12 seconds into the third period.
The Fury (2-5) now head to Monterrey to take on the Flash to wrap up their current 3-game road trip. The Fury have lost three in a row overall and have not won on the road yet this season.
The Flash are 10-0 and 1st place in the Western Conference. This will be the first of two meetings between the two clubs.
The Fury return home to Toyota Arena to face the same Monterrey Flash on Thursday January 16th 7pm kickoff. Tickets for the game are available on Ticketmaster.com or by calling the Fury Offices at 909.457.0252.
