Nick Fuller hopes every outing could go as well as Tuesday, as Fuller threw seven scoreless innings to carry the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (27-22) to a 6-0 victory over the Pittsfield Suns at Vineyard Baseball Park.
The Marthas Vineyard Sharks blew out the Pittsfield Suns (24-25) thanks to 10 hits, including zero extra base hits. A three-run home run by Jon Testani delivered the runs in the second. The Marthas Vineyard Sharks had two hits in the inning.
Testani racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks.
Oliver Collette ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
