Fuego FC Celebrates International Coffee Day with Valparaiso Coffee Roasters Co.

Today is International Coffee Day and we couldn't celebrate without our friends over at Valparaiso Coffee Roasters Co. in Fresno, California. As our local coffee partner, we're excited to spotlight co-owners Mario and Shannon Vargas.

Born in Valparaiso, Chile, Mario and his wife and co-owner Shannon opened Valparaiso Coffee Roasters Co. in 2017. Mario had always dreamed of owning his own business and wanted to build a legacy for their family with Shannon by his side. Honoring your roots is very important to Mario and naming his business after his hometown serves as a reminder everyday.

Valparaiso is currently exclusively roasting for wholesale and retail. You can find local coffee shops like Brick and Stone Coffee in Dinuba and Clash Coffee Boba in Fresno exclusively serving Valparaiso. They sell at most local farmers markets in town out of their coffee truck which also provides food options for a full service experience. When Mario and Shannon aren't busy roasting you can catch them at all Fuego FC home matches at Fresno State Soccer Stadium! We appreciate your support for our Club and community and look forward to seeing Valparaiso continue to grow.
